APPLICATION

When UV light without visible light is subjected to the

skin fluorescence, a coloured glow that many substances emit when exposed to UV.

 

Black lights are employed for diagnostic and

therapeutic uses in medicine, for the detection of substances tagged with fluorescent dyes.

and help them see various skin conditions which under normal light would be nearly invisible.
